OUR HIRING PROCESS

1. Shortlist

Our HCS team will review your application and resume using key selection criteria required for the role. To assist with the process, you may be contacted for a phone screen discussion to understand your application. A shortlist of candidates will then be identified. If you are successful you will be contacted shortly after the application closing date. If you are unsuccessful at this stage you will be notified via email.

2. Interview

Once you are shortlisted for an interview, you will be contacted and invited to attend a structured behavioral based interview with FPCL representatives and key representatives for the role. The interview is designed to understand your skills and experience and determine the best person for the role and cultural fit to the FPCL team.

3. Testing

Depending on the role, you may be requested to attend further aptitude or behavioral test to further understand your suitability for the role. Unsuccessful candidates will be advised of the outcome via phone.

4. Second Interview

You may be invited for a further interview to the location the role will be based. Upon completion of this step, you will be presented with an offer of employment should you be the successful candidate. Depending on the post and the selection criteria, the HR department will decide the number of interviews to be arranged.

5. Reference Checking

The FPCl will conduct a reference checking prior to offer any position. It is a vital part of the process and is used to verify factual information regarding your employment.

6.On-Boarding

Once the above steps are completed and the candidate has signed the Offer of Appointment Letter, the official contract is signed on the first day of employment and necessary forms are filled. Employee orientation and induction training is conducted to officially welcome the new family member of FPCL.

7. Site visits

Once the on-boarding process is complete, the new staffs are taken for a tour of the site to familiarize them with their work environment. This gives the staff an opportunity to meet other members of the team.
