The Fiji Ship Owners and Agents Association hosted their annual Charity Golf tournament at the Fiji Golf Club in Vatuwaqa, Suva, on July 13 with FPCL proud to continue with its sponsorship towards this worthy cause.

This was the 12th year of the competition which contributes to the welfare of sick children. A total of $30,000 is often raised annually and is donated to the Fiji Children’s Overseas Treatment Trust Fund.

A total of 130 players competed on the day. With the assistance of the Fiji Gold Club, FPCL was able to field a team consisting of Jone Salauca, Cama Raimuria, Pulu Rabonu and Loa Silimaibau.

Our continuous support towards this charity event is part of our corporate and social responsibility as we aim to create an impact by delivering economic, social and health care benefits to our children.

Other charity events that FPCL has supported so far this year were the Fiji Cancer Society’s Bushell’s Morning Tea, Fiji Society of the Blind’s Annual Appeal and Save the Children Fund Zumba Fundraiser which also include sponsorship rendered towards non-profit organisations.
